PrestaShop module

Intrastat for PrestaShop,
without manual spreadsheets

The module builds the monthly Intrastat declaration directly from your store orders, for Germany, France and Spain. It sums up values, weights and commodity codes, and hands you a ready file in the format the office of the chosen country expects. Instead of assembling the report by hand in a spreadsheet, you download it in one click.

  • Three countries in one module: Germany, France and Spain
  • CN8 code, country of origin and weight taken from product data
  • File format matched to the office of the chosen country

What the module does

From gathering data out of orders to a ready file for the office, the whole Intrastat workflow closed in a single module.

A file in the format of the office

The chosen country decides the shape of the file: INSTAT/XML of the Eurostat 6.2 model for Germany and France, a flat CSV file for the Spanish AEAT. The XML declarations are additionally checked against the schema of the relevant administration before you hand them over.

Goods classification

The module reads the CN8 commodity code and country of origin from product features, and the weight from the product weight or a dedicated feature. It tells B2B from B2C transactions by the VAT number on the order address.

Configuration without a developer

In the panel you point out which features map to the CN8 code and origin, where to take weight and value from, and which order states to include in the declaration. All from the Back Office.

Historical data kept safe

At the moment an order is placed, the module stores the goods classification. Thanks to that, a later change or deletion of the product does not spoil the declaration for a past period.

Automation with a notification

A scheduled task generates the declaration for the previous period every month and sends the ready file by e-mail to a chosen address, so the deadline does not depend on someone remembering it.

PrestaShop 8 and 9

A single module runs on both PrestaShop lines, 8 and 9, with no separate builds and no rework when you upgrade the store.

Supported countries

Every statistical office expects different data in a different file, so the module keeps a separate profile for each country. You pick the country when you create a declaration, and the form shows exactly the fields required there.

DE

Germany

Declaration
Versendung
File format
INSTAT/XML, Eurostat 6.2 model
Schema validation
Yes, against the German administration schema

A profile of the complete 6.2 model, with the address data of the reporting party and the option to mark the file as a test before you send the real one.

FR

France

Declaration
EMEBI, formerly DEB
File format
INSTAT/XML in the DEBWEB2 variant
Schema validation
Yes, against the French customs schema

You file through the DEBWEB2 service in DTI+ mode. The module keeps to the French rules: mass in whole kilograms, amounts in whole euros and the statistical procedure code derived from the nature of the transaction.

ES

Spain

Declaration
Exportación
File format
A flat CSV file for the AEAT
Schema validation
No, the AEAT publishes no schema

You import the file in the AEAT sede electrónica. Instead of a schema, the module guards the file contract, the column count and the number formats itself, and splits larger declarations into parts that fit the limit of the office.

All three profiles come in one license, with no per-country surcharge. The module is built to add more EU countries, and we will release such profiles as it grows.

Price

Module license

For a PrestaShop 8 or 9 store shipping goods to Germany, France or Spain, single domain.

  • 12 months of updates and support
  • Installs on PrestaShop 8 and 9
  • Regulatory updates to Intrastat requirements

Net price. A one-time license for a single domain, with 12 months of updates and support included. It covers all three country profiles with no per-country surcharge, and more EU countries will follow as the module grows.

Frequently asked questions

Which countries does the module support?

The module has three country profiles, all of them for intra-EU dispatches: Germany (Versendung), France (EMEBI, formerly DEB) and Spain (exportación). All of them come in one license, and you choose the country when you create a declaration. If you need another country, get in touch.

Where does the module get the CN8 code, country of origin and weight?

From your PrestaShop product data. In the configuration you point out which product feature holds the CN8 code and the country of origin, and whether the weight should come from the product weight or a separate feature. You do not have to rebuild your catalog.

What happens if I delete a product after an order was placed?

Nothing bad for the declaration. The module stores the goods classification at the time of the order, so a line for a product deleted later still lands in the declaration for the past period with correct data.

Will the module work on my PrestaShop version?

A single module supports PrestaShop 8 and 9. You install the same package regardless of the line, and upgrading the store between 8 and 9 does not require a separate module version.

Do I have to generate the declaration manually every month?

You do not have to. A scheduled task prepares the declaration for the previous month and sends the ready file by e-mail. You can also generate and download it manually from the panel at any time, with a preview of the lines and a gaps report before filing.
